Had a first Matcha Green Tea drink – the choice was regular, or a latte. Latte sounded better, and was asked, hot or cold. Chose hot for this first time.
We got to see the powder used for the drink. It just looked like a forest green powder.
This is the drink, with no sugar.
You can’t tell, but it was made with skim milk, and no sugar. We kept it healthy.
The taste?
Decent, but may have needed a sweetener? Perhaps Agave? There wasn’t much taste, but the last few sips were more tea tasting, with the bottom f the cup grit, not a bad thing really.
Was it pure Matcha? Was there rice filler? Couldn’t tell from drinking the tea.
What about the amazing health benefits? – Probably need to drink this a few times a week before we can make that assessment.
