This came out like a melted milkshake. The fresh broccoli didn’t add any taste, but you can see the green ground flakes in the smoothie. The taste was mostly a milky mango. Mixed in about 1 minute in the Nutri Ninja.
Ingredients
Frozen mango chunks – 5 chunks
1 Broccoli Crown – fresh
Cashew Milk – about 2/3 cup
Protein Powder – Vanilla scoop
Hemp Seeds – 2 teaspoons
The Pure Protein was from Sams club, but you can use any vanilla protein, or if you rather not have the flavor, just a regular whey protein would work well.
This is the smoothie, just before mixing. Always put the powder on last, as it will blend better and not stick to the sides on the Ninja. The hemp seeds did not add any flavor, and blended so well that there was no texture, just a milky smooth consistency.
The final product, a nice thick and healthy morning smoothie, in a martini glass, of course!
